What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, and Form 8K
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial data reported or filed
- Coordinate and oversee external audits and reviews
- Manage communications with external auditor on financial statements and accounting issues
- Mentor and train the SEC team, plan and organize activities, and provide guidance on accounting matters
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or equivalent active license
- 5-10 years of previous Public Accounting experience or equivalent industry experience
- Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience in preparing quarterly/annual SEC filings
- Familiarity with financial systems such as Hyperion, HFM, or SAP
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- MBA or other Master's degree
- Previous experience managing a team
- Knowledge of International Financial & Reporting Standards (IFRS)
